John Palmer
John J. Palmer is author of the bestseller How to Brew: Everything You Need to Know to Brew Great Beer Every Time (2017), co-author of both Brewing Classic Styles (2007), and Water: A Comprehensive Guide for Brewers (2013) from Brewers Publications.
John J. Palmer was born and raised in Midland, Mich., and graduated from Michigan Tech University. He graduated with a degree in Metallurgical Engineering in 1987. John worked in the space program at a failure analysis lab in Irvine, California, and he has helped design, build, and inspect hardware that is currently flying on the International Space Station.
